New Construction Planning and Designing

Initial Consultation: The first step is to meet with the client and discuss their vision for the project, including their goals, budget, timeline, and any specific requirements or preferences they may have.

Site Analysis: The next step is to evaluate the building site, taking into account factors such as the topography, soil conditions, orientation, views, and zoning restrictions.

Conceptual Design: Based on the information gathered during the consultation and site analysis, the design team will create a preliminary design concept that incorporates the client's vision and meets their requirements.

Design Development: Once the client has approved the conceptual design, the design team will begin to refine and develop the design, including floor plans, elevations, materials, and finishes.

Construction Documents: The next step is to create detailed construction documents, which include drawings, specifications, and other documentation required to obtain building permits and to guide the construction process.

Permitting: The construction documents are submitted to the local building department for review and approval, and any necessary permits are obtained.

Construction: With permits in hand, the construction process can begin. The builder will coordinate the various trades involved in the construction process, such as excavation, foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finishing work.

Final Inspection: Once the construction is complete, a final inspection is conducted to ensure that the building meets all applicable building codes and regulations.

Occupancy: With final approval from the building department, the building can be occupied and enjoyed by its owner.
