Installing finishing details is the final step in the construction process before handing over the keys to the homeowner. It involves adding all the final touches and details that bring the home to completion.
This includes installing fixtures such as light switches, electrical outlets, and doorknobs. It also includes installing baseboards, crown molding, and trim around doors and windows. Flooring is installed in this stage as well, such as carpet, hardwood, or tile. Any cabinetry, such as kitchen or bathroom cabinets, is installed during this stage as well.
The installation of finishing details also includes any final painting or touch-ups that need to be done. This is the stage where the home truly begins to take shape and become a livable space.
Once all the finishing details have been installed, the home undergoes a final inspection to ensure that everything is up to code and that all the details are in place. After this inspection is complete, the home is ready to be handed over to the homeowner.
