The following tasks are completed at this stage:
- Home-site graded, leveled and staked.
- Stem wall footing and wall built where applicable.
- Slab form boards set.
- Underground plumbing in place.
- Termite pre-treatment if applicable.
- Moisture barrier in place.
- Slab poured.
- Slab form boards pulled.
- Trash bin or dumpster installed.
Construction related hazards associated with this stage of construction:
- Open trenches.
- Loose or piled dirt and rock.
- Tripping hazards (form boards, kickers, post tension cables).
