Slab Foundation

The following tasks are completed at this stage: 

• Home-site graded, leveled and staked.
• Stem wall footing and wall built where applicable.
• Slab form boards set.
• Underground plumbing in place. 
• Termite pre-treatment if applicable.
• Moisture barrier in place.
• Slab poured.
• Slab form boards pulled.
• Trash bin or dumpster installed.

Construction related hazards associated with this stage of construction:

• Open trenches.
• Loose or piled dirt and rock.
• Tripping hazards (form boards, kickers, post tension cables).
